I’m an energetic, positive person who really enjoys the field of UX/UI Visual Design. I have over 25 years’ experience in the design of Web pages, splash pages, landing pages, email marketing, prototyping, online banners, print media, brand marketing and digital illustration. In the motion graphics field, I have used Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC. For my wireframe and prototyping I frequently use Figma or Adobe XD and am extremely skilled in both. In the past I have also used Sketch and Invision Studio.

WORK EXPERIENCE

UX/UI Designer

1. March 2023 to July 2023
   Contracted through ASG (A Squared Group) to The Department of Homeland Security / USCIS. Job responsibilities were to research, and prototype their Next Generation I-9 Employment process. Working in a heavy Agile environment. Predominantly a Mobile first environment. All prototyping done in Adobe XD. Includes follow up work, reporting and scheduling in Jira and Confluence. Large scale project. Use of and contributing to an established design library and design system. Prototyping predominantly from the employee perspective the entire I-9 process. Including the design of many design flows to accompany the prototypes asked of me. Security Clearance was necessary and acquired. 508 certification in process. Weekly meetings with the Project Owner as well as daily standups and sprint reviews.
2.  July 2023 – Current
   Contracted through ASG to The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)  – Primary responsibilities include UX/UI Design and Content management as well as Graphic Design. Aiding in maintaining and the redesign of multiple websites and creating infographics. Use of Drupal, WordPress and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Contracted to Whelen Engineering. A corporation that designs and manufactures audio and visual warning equipment for automotive, aviation, and mass notification industries worldwide. My task is to design, plan and build user flows, creation and transport to developers of prototypes, CSS files and necessary graphics. Currently completed the prototyping (In development) of the internal IT management portal. Plan and developing iconography and style guides. Heavy use of Adobe XD and The Adobe Creative Suite. Future plans include redesign of Whelen’s customer facing site.

Three month contract. Designing, planning and building user flows, prototypes and style guide for PTSC Consulting. Work flow consist of Prototyping for Vetzu a employee background and vetting firm. Creating custom art work and infographics, designing their Cutomer User Portal (Quintrx) and securities panel. Prototyping and redesign of their website as well as occasional copy writing of content. Upon completing these projects I was tasked with beginning the redesign and prototype of PorsisIQ a Global Resource Management Firm. Heavy use of The Adobe Creative Suite. Prototyping done in Adobe XD.

Updating component libraries, maintaining, editing and completing existing prototypes to conform to an updated Pattern Guide for a large Enterprise client. Research of, and Creation of User flow diagrams for an EC (Existing Customer) user experience as well as editing and continuing existing user flow diagrams. Heavy use of MS Teams and Adobe XD and the entire Adobe Creative Suite.

In charge of all creative design and content creation, Visual Design, prototyping in both Figma and Adobe XD, page creation and maintenance of their website and deliverables. Heavy use of WordPress. Upkeep and continuous promotion of T4S Partners Linkedin and Twitter social media accounts. Internal and external promotions and press releases, video production and editing. Support of both T4S Partners and their partners branding efforts. Event promotions. Social Media posts. Heavy use of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Worked with on Cherwell and OutSystems content as well as other partners with the goal to create great content. Promoted NextStep, ComSpark and CLEAR 2020 virtual events both nationally and in Europe. I also functioned as the Creative lead and sole graphic designer. Creative work was Mac based. Position required me to be both a marketing manager, web design and developer, and creative content/graphic designer.
